Kulsoom & Aarif’s Dreamy Engagement Session at the Birmingham Botanical Garden and Barber Institute of Fine Arts.
Kulsoom and Aarif’s celebrated their love during their dreamy engagement session in two locations; first at the Birmingham Botanical Garden and then at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham UK. This engagement session was simply stunning.
Kulsoom and Aarif wanted their engagement photography session to be unique, reflect their love for nature, the arts and their city Birmingham. They chose two stunning locations; the Birmingham Botanical Garden and the Barber Institute of Fine Arts. The first location, the Birmingham Botanical Garden, is one of my favorites, and as always provided a stunning natural setting with an array of colourful flowers and lush greenery. The couple looked stunning in their elegant attire, perfectly complementing the beauty of the garden. For this session, the day was very cold so we made use of the different greenhouses in the garden. Kulsoom had decided to not do an engagement ring but Aarif was not deterred. During our shoot in one of the greenhouses, he surprised Kulsoom by presenting her with the engagement ring that she had been eyeing for months. Tears everywhere! Riding on a high from Aarif’s spontaneous and oh-so-romantic surprise, we moved to the second location; the Barber Institute of Fine Arts. The Barber Institute of Fine Arts -with its treasure trove of classical paintings -provided a stunning backdrop for the couple's second look and allowed them to enjoy the love for the arts. We explored the museum, posing in front of beautiful artwork and sculptures that added a touch of elegance and sophistication to the photographs. Capturing Aarif & Kulsoom’s love for each other and their personalities was simply effortless. The photos from this session are filled with a variety of beautiful colours and natural light, beautiful artwork and -most evidently- the couple's love for each other.
Kulsoom and Aarif's engagement session was an absolutely dreamy, breathtaking celebration of their love, nature and the arts. The two stunning locations; the Birmingham Botanical Garden and the Barber Institute of Fine Arts, provided the perfect backdrops for a day the couple is sure to remember for the rest of their lives.
